Message from Jenny Kirsten

Jenny and I had a lovely walk today from Sea Point to Camps Bay.
I was presented with this card and an owl feather.
Such lovely words, thanks Jen.

In Memory of Mark Jones

Message from Marlene and Caitlin Firth ~ Mark Jones, our precious son and brother passed away on 16 Feb 2008 aged 25 in a road accident. His ashes are scattered at Glencairn beach, which holds very special memories.
Darren joined us when we chose 2 special pebbles and wrote a message to Mark, he will carry them and place them at a spiritual point on his pilgrimage in memory of Mark.
Our hearts go with him and our  love to him for honouring Mark in this way. Lots of love, Marlene and Caitlin xxx

Save The Rhino

There are many reasons why I am walking the El Camino De Santiago.

I would like to highlight saving the Rhino which is close to my heart.

A few weeks back I was fortunate to see Rhino in a National Park. Will that be the last time I get to see one in the wild ?
I am certainly hoping not.
This means we all need to help in some way no matter how small.

I have purchased a couple of Rhino Force bracelets to hand out as gifts to people along "The Way". They only cost R30.
Refer to www.rhinoforce.co.za for more information. For my friends in South Africa head off to Exclusive Books to purchase your bracelets.

My challenge is a very long +-800km pilgrimage from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago De Compostela. Information on my first post.

How many Rhino Force bracelets will you sponsor me ? 1 bracelet for how many km's ?

Make a difference, "Save the Rhino"

I will place this stone on the Cruce De Ferro in memory of his parents:
Father, Donald Anderson: Born 05-07-1928 Passed Away: 08-02-2011
Mother, Edna Anderson: Born 06-05-1935 Passed Away: 03-11-2011
